About this deal

IRWIN QUICK-GRIP® Heavy-Duty One-Handed Bar Clamps 300mm/12" evenly distributes up to 272kg (600lbs) of sustained clamping pressure, making it one of the top performing one-handed bar clamps available. Once happy that the fixing is in the correct place, turn the two small screws on the outer edge of the fixing clockwise until they resist. The four different colors represent each GripIt® size which can hold different weights in plasterboard. Our biggest challenge has been ramping up production to meet the demand, not a bad problem to have and one which Jordan and his team have risen to and carried off perfectly.

With our next product patent being applied for I know GripIt will grow from a product to a range very quickly, making me a very pleased Investor. Moved into a new build beginning of the year and put up curtain poles above 2 doors with bit of wood attached to plasterboard wall using 4 metal plasterboard fixings. The heavy duty anchors are great, but if the OP's new build is anything like mine, then the walls are dot-dab onto cinder blocks. The Type 25-2 is the heaviest fitting, perfect for installing kitchen cupboards, water heaters and wall mounted televisions. Fix objects such as radiators, TV brackets, kitchen cabinets and more directly to plasterboard without needing additional reinforcement. When GripIt® was launched on the market in 2012 it provided an instantly popular and winning solution to an enduring problem. Now, with a UK patent in place and a US patent pending, he was ready and poised to really maximise the opportunity and explained exactly what he wanted from an investor and why. If you are fixing timber on without removing a section you can use the knocking technique to locate the studs. Using their uniquely patented designed slim gripping wings,Gripit Fixings fold out in the gap behind the plasterboard to create one of the most effective and secure fixings on the market today. These fixings have been designed for use with all types of plasterboard, giving an extremely strong grip and high load bearing. It takes a bit of a bashing getting things in and out and the weight it pretty decent and it hasn't budged. When tapped into place, anti rotational wings help to eliminate movement and increase lateral strength. Most purchases from business sellers are protected by the Consumer Contract Regulations 2013 which give you the right to cancel the purchase within 14 days after the day you receive the item. For that sort of application, self-drills are fine, but curtains are heavy and require something far more substantial. Complete in 4 different sizes to suit various applications with the heaviest fixing being able to take a load of up to 180kg. Once it has been turned with the gauge, the wings on the back of the fixing will rotate out and lock, which secures it firmly in the plasterboard.

If the item comes direct from a manufacturer, it may be delivered in non-retail packaging, such as a plain or unprinted box or plastic bag.Gripit Fixings fold out in the gap behind the plasterboard to create a secure fixing, ideal for fixings boilers, kitchen cabinets, televisions, or other items up to 113kg in weight, to plasterboard.

Also tape measure will be marked with symbol to show where studs are to confirm as should be set spacing. These blue fixings need a 25mm hole drilled in the plasterboard and will take a huge 180kg maximum load. No longer a problem with our undercutting tool, which creates space behind the plasterboard for the wings to unfold. Lead times are shown on the product and trolley pages and are always advertised in working days (Monday to Friday). New removable dual swivel jaws and non-marring full-faced pads deliver even distribution of clamping force and can be removed for full contact of the swivel jaws to combat flexing at extreme pressure and to conform to irregular shapes.

Tried to install a TV mount with gripit studs but the screw is too big for the mount hole, now i just read gripit isn’t suitable for swing out mounts so can someone recommend an item to use to get the mount on a plaster wall? You want minimum 18mm ply for a decent screw fixing for tv bracket so you need to cut out studs so can recess the ply - if you have a multi tool (? Some say that the pack contains too many sizes, and that there are not enough of the small ones, which are the more useful size.
