About this deal

If your somebody who doesn't mind a snail pace start and atmosphere building then give then I recommend it.

And when a fellow student dies a disturbing death - the first of a long chain of deaths - Koichi seeks to learn the truth behind the curse of Class 3-3. I feel like there is a lot of commentary to be made on the Japanese culture of tradition and polite conformity but maybe it didn't quite make it through the translation.Flipping back to previous pages, she said, “I think it’s so clever how she took the blanket off her bed and used it as a rope to climb down into the other world and find her cat. There are times when some plot points will feel ridiculous, and there are way too many coincidences happening around that it takes away some immersion. All clues are given before Sakakibara's told anything, so it's really easy to miss the important hints, even if they're bolded.

For the final episode of Another Book Podcast, Season 1, we had the pleasure of talking to one of our own authors on the podcast this week; the truly wonderful Gráinne Murphy. They say a picture is worth a thousand words, and in the case of Christian Robinson's "Another" this phrase could not fit better!Following the demise of her marriage, Angie moves back to her childhood home, where she takes up a position with her sisters at their family’s restaurant.

But I think I'd much rather learn more in the manga or anime, than by reading the second volume of the original novel. The cat seems to go through a portal to another dimension perhaps and while there sees all different kinds of perspectives. The girl in this book has that chance one night when a portal opens in her room while she's asleep in bed. Apparently, these reviewers actually read the book it was made to be read: slowly, deliberately, and with an open mind willing to wonder. There was just the right amount of choice to suit everyone without being overwhelming and I received comments from parents and staff about the quality of books offered compared to previous sales which have always been based around current crazes and well known celebrity authors. The idea behind the curse of Class 3 and the way everyone decided to try to fight it was interesting, once we finally got to know what it was all about.

And with the days getting shorter and the evenings getting darker, it’s the perfect book to hunker down with and try to figure out who you can trust. I did, however, feel like the book dragged considerably and I grew increasingly frustrated with the main character, Koichi Sakakibara's attempt to unravel the mystery of Mei Misaki and the strange curse of Class 3 at North Yomi school.I was so incredibly lucky to have the queen of crime thrillers herself on the podcast this week, Clare Mackintosh. This experience has been fantastic primarily for the children, the school and also for me (professionally). While it is not possible to register the title of a stand-alone literary work, there is provision to register as a trademark for a series of works.
