About this deal

It discusses the methods used to reframe the movie, and it also talks about the digital-to-digital transfer. Plus, this DVD edition has been created directly from Pixar's digital source, producing the clearest picture possible, and two viewing formats:original widescreen and special full0frame,digitally recomposed to retain the entire image. This unofficial subreddit is dedicated to celebrating 100 years of the stories, worlds, and magic of all things Disney! Also here is a host of artwork and 3-dimensional models, showing the progression from paper to final product for characters and locations in the film. You can change your choices at any time by visiting Cookie preferences, as described in the Cookie notice.

While the original set of bloopers still accompanies either version of the film, we can see both of them fullframe here without any intrusive text. Note: The images in this review are not from the Blu-ray disc and do not necessarily represent the image quality on the disc. The absence of the museum scene is no loss, but the office segment might have worked; it has some funny stuff in it. Preproduction is the most extensive section and it covers all of the work that occurred prior to formal "filming. The other is a scene in "PT's Office" that was replaced with his simple "You're fired" line in the final film.

Worker ant Flik (Dave Foley) sets off to get help from the big city, where he mistakes a troupe of circus bugs for fierce warriors. Crawling with imaginative characters, hilarous laughs and colorful, lifelike computer animation, Disney and Pixar's A Bug's Life will delight everyone - young and old alike!

From the opening credits, where we see a zoomed out shot of the island of the ants detail and vivid, solid colours leapt out of the screen. The first pressings of the disc there's also Movie Cash included good for a free ticket to Pixar's next feature, Up. Right before Thanksgiving 1999, Disney put out a terrific two-DVD Collector’s Edition of A Bug’s Life. Crawling with imaginative characters, hilarious laughs and colourful, lifelike computer animation, Disney and Pixor's "A Bug's Life" is a masterpiece, terrific entertainment for all ages.

The progression demonstration shows us the steps computer animation goes through to reach the final product.
