About this deal

High Dynamic Range increases luminance in every shot so that the brightest white and richest black hues are visible, letting you enjoy all the details. This is subject to the size of the product ( getting past obstructions / through doorways ) and also in weight. Dolby Vision manages to use the dynamic metadata and tone mapping to make DV content look better than HDR10, but it is still hampered by a lack of peak brightness and dynamic range available from the panel. Dolby Atmos enabled QLED TV brings breakthrough immersive audio experience to your home whether it is shows, games or live sports.

The 50A7GQTUK TV features a 4K screen that brings out all the detail and colour in your movies, programmes and games.Paypal e-cheques can take up to 10 working days to clear, again if paying by this method we can only deliver to CONFIRMED PayPal address. Dolby Vision and sound tuned Dolby Atmos really set the 50A7GQTUK at the very top of the pile when it comes to spec. There are a few settings available via the menu system to tailor the sound to your environment, but it is strictly a two-channel affair. All technology / electrical items including but not restricted to TVs, laptops, tablets etc must be still in their original packaging with the manufacturer seals still in tact.

The Hisense A7GQ has two 10W speakers built into the chassis and it will also decode Dolby Atmos audio as well as offer broadcast stereo sound. We found the HDR performance was again a struggle for the A7G given its lack of brightness, but we found gaming on the set to be a decent experience with no major issues with motion in the games mode.

It will playback HDR content, but it does so with limited dynamic range in terms of image brightness, but the wide colour performance is good. Also if you are concerned about any damage to your floor it is your responsibility to put down a protective layer. Display diagonal: 127 cm (50"), Display resolution: 3840 x 2160 pixels, HD type: 4K Ultra HD, Display technology: QLED, Screen shape: Flat.

With 4x more pixels than traditional Full HD, Hisense's 4K UHD resolution delivers breath taking picture quality and pin-sharp clarity. You’ll have to sacrifice on build quality but you’ll still get both Dolby Vision and Dolby Atmos support. Finance is provided by PayPal Credit (a trading name of PayPal UK Ltd, Whittaker House, Whittaker Avenue, Richmond-Upon-Thames, Surrey, United Kingdom, TW9 1EH).Other HDR picture modes may look brighter but they do not follow the PQ EOTF standard and push brightness, which just makes images look flat and bright with no dynamics or pop. The Smart TV system is also up to scratch with a good selection of apps and this set would be perfectly suited to a kitchen or bedroom role within most homes. just found out while writing, there's static 4k pics that autoplay if you stare at a black screen long, enough then auto turns off.

Viewing angles were a downside on the A7GQ which is important if you will be using the TV in a living room with seating off to the sides. Also including four HDMI and three USB ports, you can link up a range of devices from laptops and soundbars to Blu-Ray players and games consoles. The PQ EOTF in the HDR Night mode also tracks correctly to the PQ EOTF standard ST2084 curve before hard clipping at its peak brightness of 240 nits. We found that just being 20 degrees off centre introduced gamma and colour shift with the screen washing out quickly the further you moved off-axis. Upon collection the TV is unwrapped and you are given a demonstration of the TV for your peace of mind.As always, for purists, we would recommend disabling the Ultra Smooth Motion settings for film and drama content, but there are user settings for use with video content and sports if you feel you need those. Lovely tv, very good picture, the sound stutters slightly sometime, for a second, hopefully wont get worse. The guarantee is back to base which means in the unlikely event of a fault you can take the TV back to any of our 5 branches for repair. Like with the picture, most people will probably keep it to either Standard or Auto, but if you’re having a movie night then it could well be worth switching to Theatre because it boosts the surround sound effect to some degree.
