About this deal

yeah, in the end this book was just average. it was cute and all but there wasnt any big ”wow” factor so… yeah I think each author should read this and take notes on how NOT to write a novella for their characters. It will leave them an invaluable lesson I believe. ignoring the flaws, it was fun. it had me laughing till the end. if i started oc with this one then i would have liked the book bc i wouldn't have met the characters before These books had humor, drama, amazing sexy times, and most of all, none of the over-the-top angst so many other stories can have. As someone who doesn't read the angsty, heartbreaking type... this was a series made just for me and others who felt the same way. I loved Grace. The girl was smart and cute. She was a bit shy and timid at the beginning but once she caught her wind, she didn't take shit from a bitchy friend or Logan. And when Logan made his mistake, she stomped her feet and made him work for it, though she knew she would be giving him a chance.

The plot with the doll that the guys were gifting to each other was hilarious. It was always interesting to see where Alexander would appear next, only to see the couples' reaction to it. 😂 dean & allie - i was so disappointed because this is supposed to be a happy ending type of shit but they kept fighting??? and after 4 years they still go ahead and ignore each other when they disagree? no character development whatsoever. Logan and Grace were only ones with no fighting, their part was the one that me laughing the most. The whole trip to Vermont, elopement, logans new year countdown and ALEXANDER, he is one of the main cause for my stomach ache. Allie spilling Hannah's secret? not okay!! You just have to read their own books to know that that would never happen and it was a really weird thing to add in this novella. So long story short, this is an AWESOME installment to what has become one of my favorite all time series.

allie started off as a character i liked because she didn’t give in to dean easily, but then that tequila mess happened and lust was introduced.Another wonderful addition to Elle Kennedy's Off Campus series. Delivered with Elle's trademark humor and vivid characterization, The Mistake is another fantastic read for me. This isn't just a story of the manwhore meeting his match and inevitably succumbing to his feelings for her; it's so much more. The story had wit and humor and so much depth to it, too. There's something that happens towards the end that caught me completely off guard. I never in a million years expected something like that to happen and yet as much as it broke my heart, I can't help but to admit it did the job of driving the plot where it needed to go. There is so much more to this story than just the start of this relationship. We find out why Dean has acted the way he has and his growth arc is done with sleight of hand and then leaps and bounds. Allie has been on a serious path for a very long time. She had a family which loved and cared for her, experienced what it was like to lose a loved one, and now is devoted to her father. With his management of MS becoming harder and harder, Allie has made decisions based on it. She has been a caretaker for a very long time, not always doing what is best for her or allowing others to do for her. To build up on this aspect, the characters also made some really dumb and unbelievable choices that made me scratch my head and go huh. Logan and Grace officially meet in one of the cheesiest ways – him accidentally stumbling upon the wrong dorm room and happens to find her room instead (hmmm okay…). They’re strangers at this point (except Grace has only been fangirling about him for so long and can’t wait to tell her best friend about him ugh) and you’d think that since they don’t know anything about each other they’d chit-chat and that’d be the start of a potential relationship right? Instead, Grace – who knows absolutely nothing about Logan except that he’s HOT – invites him into her dorm and further invites him to watch a movie. And then they proceed to mess around. I’m sorry, but that’s something I find hard to accept considering they are complete STRANGERS at this point and have next to zero interaction.

logan & grace - nothing really happened and i don't like how the chapter ended without us hearing any vows or shit???? like wtf their part consisted of nothing but drama As a huge, massive, seriously devoted fan of The Deal by Elle Kennedy, I was over the top thrilled to see the success of her new series Off-Campus. I enjoyed reading about people in college who had dreams and goals; who experienced things in their lives which shaped who they were and when confronted with real challenges, pulled from within... muscled through...coming out the other end, better. Allie just got herself out of a toxic relationship and all she wanted was to feel free from men but then she was at Dean's house. They were alone, they got alcohol and one thing led to another. Two people who never got a one normal conversation found their perfect language in bed! She tried to avoid him afterwards, to pretend like nothing had happened but they both knew that it was impossible to forget. The passion, the heat, the chemistry was OFF CHARTS and the one night stand turns out to be something impossible to leave without. I've given handjobs before, plus a few blowjobs that I know were a huge success because...well, semen and all that. but I don't have enough experience to consider myself an expert penis-wrangler or anything.Garrett and Hannah's novella (★) — This is where I say I'm somehow surprised. hannahgarrett is probably Elle's favorite couple so I thought they would at least be spared. Wrong. For Allie has finally pulled the plug on her long-term on-again off-again relationship with Sean. They started in her freshman year with the understanding of what would happen at the end of college... the both of them going off to do what they had planned...She to pursue her passion in acting... him, off to Vermont to work at his father's insurance company. What developed was a push-pull between them; Sean trying to manipulate Allie to being "the little woman supporting her man" syndrome. The best way to get over someone is to hook up with someone else. ASAP. Seriously, just find yourself a rebound. I volunteer as tribute.”

Dean always gets what he wants. Girls, grades, girls, recognition, girls…he’s a ladies man, all right, and he’s yet to meet a woman who’s immune to his charms. Until Allie. But resisting his easy charm and surfer-boy hotness is darn near impossible. Though I’m realizing there’s much more to Conor’s story than his fan club can see. With this book she out done herself! Once again showed that she's brilliant author with unique style! And finally, he will squeeze out of you all those warm feelings. You. Will. Fall. Head. Over. Hills. In. Love with HIM. this novella was most definitely the best novella and ugh i should’ve just stopped there while i could… but yeah, i didntWell unless you are Elle Kennedy. No one wants unnecessary drama, we already have that in OG books. Let me just say there is a lot more to Dean than what meets the eye. I love the Elle gives her characters this depth you wouldn’t expect. I didn’t think there would be so much to Dean, but there absolutely was. And Allie was pretty fantastic as well. I loved how she didn’t easily give into Dean and his ways like all the other girls on campus seem to. I love me a feisty heroine! Dean met his match when he found himself wanting her.
